All music written, performed and produced by Bing Satellites.
Something a wee bit different from Bing Satellites.
An album of chilled, glitchy ambient music heavily inspired by All The Lost Souls, the collaboration between myself, Getzel and piper_ben.
These two are as enthusiastic as I am about a wide range of music and exploring mew musical ideas.
Although this is a solo album, this collaboration has meant I have explored new avenues that I may otherwise have never have stumbled upon.
The music is comprised of several improvised performances on piano, synth and baritone guitar, using many of the tricks and tools I have used in previous albums. These recordings, however, have been mixed and, in places, heavily processed to create the glitchy ambient soundscapes that make up this album.
Further inspiration came from my two year old nephew who had a dream about armadillos in the sky, thus giving me the title for the second track on this album.
Also included on this album is a live set performed and broadcast live on electro-music.com as part of their Summer Solstice 2012 Concert.
The set features live versions of three songs already on this album.
